Description
Working under the supervision of the Network and Communications Coordinator, the Intern will provide support to the execution of WINGS membership engagement and communications plans. Responsibilities include: supporting the day to day membership and communications activities, assisting development of content, drafting and scheduling posts, help with organizing online events, filing information and data for reporting, and other duties as assigned.

Experience of working with a global network.
Dealing with operations and procedures of a global philanthropy organization
Emerging trends and issues on global philanthropy

What we require
The ideal candidate is a media and digital enthusiast, with exceptional writing and design skills, a strong interest and background in impact communications, and demonstrated curiosity and/or experience in philanthropy and international development.
Excellent verbal and written skills in English (for example: be able to write professional emails, minutes, notes). Additional language is a plus.


Ability to multitask while maintaining strong attention to detail
High organization skills and ability to work with autonomy
Proficiency in the use of computers, Microsoft office packages (specially excel), database systems, website maintenance, social media (hootesuite) and online meetings.
Experienced in design (such as canva), video editing, podcasts and other tools are a plus.
Curiosity and ability to work with diverse cultures.
An interest in the philanthropy sector.
Completed at least 3 years in a University program.
Availability to work 6 hours per day
Previous experience in PR, communications, digital marketing activities is an asset.

Details
Remotely located
Stipend (to cover expenses): US$ 230 per month
Must have own computer as this is a remote/home based internship.
Starting date: as soon as possible
Duration: min 4-5 months (with the possiblity of extension)
