University degree in business administration, process engineering, forest engineering, Biology, environmental engineering or agronomic engineering.

It is desirable to have a postgraduate degree in project management.

6+ years of relevant work experience within operational.

Strong command of Portuguese and English.

Desirable:

Experience in the third sector (NGO).

Experience in reforestation, ecological restoration.

Experience with multicultural teams (Brazil, Holland, field teams).

Main responsibilities of the Operations Manager:

Run and optimise the operacional department, including outsourced companies in Brazil.

Support operational teams in the field with planning and resource allocation.

Ensuring the quality of the results and the deadlines committed to the project's donors.

Acting, together with HR and Sr. Coordinators, in motivating operational employees to achieve their goals.

Daily assessment of the organization's operational progress and making the necessary adjustments with the Sr. Coordinators, so that we have the best possible performance.

Prepare, analyse and present monthly reports showing the operacional results.

Champion process improvements and support implementation throughout the Black Jaguar Foundation.

Manage internal controls and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Support the CEO, fundraising, landraising, finance, purchasing, HR and communication teams with data-driven advice whenever required.

Participate in Board meetings.

Analyse requirements for, select and implement operacional and adjacent systems.

Participation in the negociation and contract elaboration of operational supplier.

Develop and implement growth strategies, together with the Finance Manager and CEO.

Periodic participation in meetings with the Finance Manager in order to update the budget of the projects and the organization.

Receive, together with your field team, donors, the press and other participants and stakeholders in the project.

Constantly promote clear and transparent information to the communications department.

Actively participate with HR in the hiring process of the operational teams.

Additional Information:

Hiring scheduled for the 3rd week of July 2022.

It is necessary that the professional resides or moves to Santana do Araguaia (PA).

Remuneration: Between BRL 12,000.00 and BRL 15,000.00 (Based on CV and experience)

Hiring in the PJ modality.
